FEFCO will demonstrate the benefits of corrugated packaging at
Fruit Logistica  

Brussels, 9 December 2008, FEFCO (European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers) is pleased to announce that it will take part in this specialist trade for the first time with a 90 m2 stand located in Hall 5.2 where international growers and grower organisations will exhibit.
Fruit Logistica is the most important business and communication arena of the international fresh produce trade and a key meeting place for the fresh produce trade with about 50,000 visitors coming from 125 countries and 950 press visitors from all over the world.

The FEFCO stand has been especially designed to highlight the benefits of corrugated packaging and to show the efficiency of corrugated solution for the packaging and distribution of fruit & vegetable products. During the fair, FEFCO will be announcing the launch of the Common Footprint Standard (CF) and the related CF stamp.

FEFCO believes that corrugated board packaging is the perfect solution in terms of logistics, sustainability, and printability. Fruit Logistica is an opportunity to advertise these remarkable qualities towards retailers, growers and grower organisations, packers and fillers, suppliers of erecting machines, professional press, and politicians.

FEFCO also encourages its members to be present in order to support the industry and help the team demonstrate the values of corrugated board packaging.
