EUYOU: Bringing citizens closer to EU’s Cohesion Policy
The EUYOU project aims to provide information on Cohesion Policy, including the Just Transition Fund, the European Economic Recovery Plan and the Technical Assistance Instrument. The project also focuses on the EU's Next Generation Programme, in particular the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
The aim of the collaboration between Portfolio.hu and Euractiv is to provide clear and up-to-date information about the impact of Cohesion policy and to raise awareness regarding its effects in Hungary. Bruxinfo, owned by Blue Door Consulting, will serve as a platform for this, having already been relaunched as a sub-section on Portfolio.hu.
The target audience includes not only readers in Hungary, but also Hungarian speaking communities in neighbouring EU countries and candidate countries such as Serbia and Ukraine. These efforts will also be complementary to Euractiv’s activities to inform stakeholders in Brussels about the achievements of Cohesion policy in Hungary.
The project will also analyse the contribution of EU funding instruments to the European Capitals of Culture programme, as well as the outcomes of the Conference on the Future of Europe and the European Citizens' Panels. Through questionnaires, the project will be able to adapt its communication strategy, inform audiences, gather stakeholder feedback, measure impact and provide valuable data for policy debates. Based on inputs from stakeholders, policy recommendations will be formulated on the future of cohesion policy and the next multiannual financial framework, which will be shared with stakeholders in Brussels.
