We are pleased to invite you to a press conference on 18 June, in the presence of Vladimir Špidla, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, to coincide with the official signing of the revision of our Framework Agreement on parental leave of 1995, which is the basis of the European Directive 96/34/EC of 3 June 1996 on parental leave.

This seventh Framework Agreement took 6 months to negotiate and represents a major achievement for the European social dialogue.
