European Public Sector Award – EPSA 2011

Call for applications: Deadline extended until 13 April 2011 (24.00hrs Central European Summer Time)!

The EPSA 2011 is a unique European award for outstanding administrative performances across all levels of the public sector. Institutions from all over Europe are invited to submit their application(s).
 
Due to the high demand and interest, the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) is offering public administrations across Europe more time to submit applications.
 
The deadline is now extended until 13 April 2011 (24.00hrs CEST)!
 
So far, applicants from several European institutions and from over 32 European countries have registered, coming from local, regional and national levels of government. The applications span many administrative sectors ranging from employment, gender equality, education and public administration modernisation, to human rights, research and innovation, information society, transport and infrastructure, and public health and social welfare.
 
This year, the three thematic areas cover:
Theme 1: Smart Public Service Delivery in a Cold Economic Climate
Theme 2: Opening Up the Public Sector through Collaborative Governance
Theme 3: Going Green: Concrete Solutions from the Public Sector
 
The award winners and nominees for each theme will be presented during a celebratory award ceremony, which will take place on 15-17 November 2011 in Maastricht (NL).
