In the framework of its latest Board meeting, the European association for the poplar sector presented its brand new website.

Five years after its creation, Pro-Populus goes online with its first website. www.pro-populus.eu is available in English and in French and presents the association as well as the poplar sector through various facts, figures and graphs.

This new platform also enables the members of Pro-Populus to repeat the main challenges which they are facing at European level as well as their recommendations in terms of regulation, information and image.
The website boasts a modern look and numerous pictures. It is also addressed to visitors looking for specific information.

Indeed, different resources are available, such as documents, publications, links, pictures, etc. Finally, visitors can ask any question they might have about poplar. The Association committed itself to publish an answer on the dedicated ‘faq’ page.

In the coming months, new documents, information, events, etc. will be updated on a regular basis in the different sections.

For more information, please contact Mr François Sougnez (françois.sougnez@cei-bois.org), Secretary General of Pro-Populus.

About Pro-Populus
Founded at the end of 2008, the European association for the poplar sector, Pro-Populus, is unique in the sense that, for the first time, it gathers growers, promoters as well as industrial users of poplar in the variety of uses it
offers (panels, packaging, energy, etc.).

Pro-Populus offers an opportunity to anyone working with or interested in poplar to join the association and to
contribute to its activities as a full member or as a contributor.
