Just a month before the Energy Efficiency Package publication, EuroACE announces new President and Vice-Presidents. Additionally, a new version of its website is launched.

In July 2016, Alix CHAMBRIS (Danfoss) took up the post of President of the European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings. “I am very happy to take this responsibility. EuroACE has proven to be a valuable partner in shaping the regulatory framework for buildings and support the competitiveness of the building sector.” “I look forward to continue the good quality work that has been done over the past years”, she added.

Given the upcoming workload on EU legislation, notably with the EPBD and EED Reviews, the President will be supported in her role by two Vice-Presidents - Céline CARRÉ from Saint-Gobain, and Ulrich BANG from the VELUX Group. Ms. CHAMBRIS replaces Susanne DYRBØL (ROCKWOOL), who acted as President since 2014. “EuroACE members and the Secretariat wish to thank very warmly Ms. DYRBØL for her continuous strong support and commitment to both EuroACE activities and the Renovate Europe Campaign”, said Adrian JOYCE, EuroACE Secretary General.

Susanne DYRBØL keeps her seat on the Board of EuroACE, together with Alix CHAMBRIS (Danfoss), Iliana AXIOTIADES (Johnson Controls), Bianca WONG (Kingspan), Bruno PEDROTTI (Philips), Céline CARRE (Saint-Gobain), Jonna BYSKATA (United Technologies), and Ulrich BANG (the VELUX Group), all appointed until July 2018. “I am delighted about the recent new nominations for Board members, President and Vice-Presidents”, explained Adrian JOYCE. “I look forward to the valuable contribution from all members to further strengthen EuroACE’s unique position as cross-sectoral association on energy efficiency in buildings, bringing together all technologies”, he added.

This Board renewal was also the opportunity to publicly launch the new version of the EuroACE website (www.euroace.org), which is now more mobile friendly.
