Serbian EurActiv to bring EU policies closer to Western Balkan citizens

EurActiv.com, the leading online media on EU policies, has a new associated partner: the BETA News Agency in Serbia. Thanks to news and analysis localised on a dedicated website, our associate partner will bring the European Union policies closer to the citizens of Serbia and neighbouring countries. EurActiv has full network partners active in 11 countries and languages across Europe, mostly in the EU and also in Turkey.

“EurActiv.com is very pleased to have an associate partner in the Western Balkans: such a project is important in the context of European Union enlargement”, declared Christophe Leclercq, publisher and founder of EurActiv.com.

“There is a significant interest in the EU in Serbia and in neighbouring countries and EurActiv.com is committed to increasing the level of awareness of EU policies in that region. We will follow the same editorial principles as those observed by our network, namely transparency, independence and neutrality,” said Mirjana Pantic, editor of Beta News Agency.

The portal of EurActiv’s associate partner in Serbia can be accessed at: http://www.euractiv.rs/ .
