EURACTIV & Europe Elects join up to share polling across the Capitals

Date

29 Jul 2021

EURACTIV Media Network and the poll and election analysts Europe Elects have formed a strategic partnership to help Europeans across the continent understand election dynamics outside of their own.

Through the month of September EURACTIV and Europe Elects will provide in-depth coverage and projections for the German parliamentary elections, giving all Europeans the opportunity to understand what is happening in the largest member state of the EU. On behalf of Europe Elects, Tobias Gerhard Schminke: “We are delighted to partner with EURACTIV for the German parliamentary elections, seeing it as a real recognition of the work we do, and an opportunity to communicate about elections and polling to a truly pan-European audience. The German parliamentary election’s outcome is important for all of Europe, and we look forward to complementing EURACTIV’s independent coverage.”

More generally, the content of Europe Elects will feed into EURACTIV’s flagship daily newsletter, The Capitals. “There are many stories across Europe not being reported because the data is not readily available, in a format that people cannot easily understand. We are very happy to be working with Europe Elects, who have been experts in data visualisation for years, and look forward to bringing stories from across Europe to the attention of a wider audience” comments Sarantis Michalopoulos, Network Editor for EURACTIV.
