ENTSOG, in cooperation with Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE), has published the seventh edition of the map illustrating the development of gas supply, demand and infrastructure over 2016 and the first quarter of 2017.

This high-quality map is updated on a yearly basis and widely used. It provides useful, accurate and up-to-date information about the recent gas demand in European countries and the capacities in the European gas infrastructure.

Jan Ingwersen, ENTSOG General Manager, said, “The map series, published together with GIE, provides an overview of existing gas infrastructure and an outlook for its future development, and contributes to enhanced transparency for gas market stakeholders.

Boyana Achovski, GIE Secretary General, said: “Infrastructure operators are committed to offer useful information to stakeholders in a transparent and user-friendly way.  We believe that this seventh edition of the System Development Map will continue to be a reference”.

ENTSOG and GIE are committed to further enhancing the information provided on the map in the future and welcome feedback from stakeholders.

The map is available for download at ENTSOG and GIE.
All maps published by GIE can be ordered online.
