Agnès Leroux joins Acumen as Account Director

On August 21st, acumen public affairs welcomed Agnès Leroux as its newest Account Director to help support the team’s growing business in a variety of policy areas.
Agnès has over 6 years’ experience in EU public affairs and communication.
When asked about her recently arrival, Agnès said: “I’m very excited to be joining the Acumen team. The very diverse client portfolio will allow me to continue growing as a 360° public affairs professional. I am also looking forward to combining my political “acumen” and strong business focus to foster better understanding between EU policymakers and business representatives.”
Agnès joins the team from gplus europe, where she has been involved in a wide range of EU policy areas, including transport, energy and environment, European single market and its digital counterpart - DSM - as well as agriculture, fisheries and industrial policy. Her experience to date includes managing pan-European campaigns, as well advising and implementing communication strategies. Her primary goal is to develop strong client relations and tailored services. Over the years, she advised large multinationals, trade associations, NGOs and SMEs.

Agnès’ first role in Brussels was as a trainee in the European Commission’ Secretariat General overseeing the quality of Impact Assessments, and she later worked on policy evaluation there.
Agnès is a French national. She holds a Master’s degree in “EU politics and government” from the London School of Economics (LSE, London) and a Master’s degree in “Public Administration” from Sciences Po (Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Rennes). In addition to her native French, Agnès speaks fluent English and Italian, as well as conversational German.
