AEGEE-Europe invites you to our press conference on establishing a pro-European movement in Ukraine

Context

Ukraine needs more than ever a strong civil society, connected with other European organizations and able to provide the citizens of Ukraine with opportunities to participate in the public debate in their country and in the European level. Therefore, on 6th – 8th March, AEGEE-Europe will be in Kyiv as part of the delegation of European Movement International,  to involve youth and students in the establishment of a permanent European Movement in Ukraine.

The delegation will meet with local EU representatives, Polish and German Ambassadors to Ukraine, Pro-European Foundations, local media, Ukrainian Parliamentarians, business and energy industry representations, grassroots political movements as well as the British, German and Polish chambers of commerce in Ukraine.

The Delegation

The delegation to establish a European Movement in Ukraine will be headed by the European Movement International’s President Mr Jo Leinen MEP and will consist of European Movement representatives from Poland and the United Kingdom, AEGEE-Europe – The European Students' Forum as well as representatives from the Council of European Municipalities and Regions, the Union of European Federalists and the Young European Federalists.
