EUX.TV, the European policy news channel powered by EurActiv, in January surpassed the 10 million views mark on its YouTube channel. The milestone was reached after five years of coverage of European politics and EU policies by EUX.TV, including news reports, debates and interviews.

"YouTube really is the big gorilla when it comes to Web video," says Raymond Frenken, who manages EurActiv EUX.TV Video SPRL. "After the European Commission's EUtube channel, EUX.TV is now the most widely watched online channel with EU-related content."

EUX.TV's total viewership more than doubled in 2010 from 4.7 million at the end of 2009. Close to 20,000 EUXTV videos are watched every day. EUX.TV became an official YouTube partner channel in October 2006.

The channel also distributes its videos via other video platforms, including Vimeo and Dailymotion, via the EUX.TV website, EurActiv.com and Blogactiv. You can see EUX.TV videos and subscribe to policy news here.
