COVID-19 update: BSEF headquarters closed

In response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic, BSEF, The International bromine Council, has taken several actions to protect the health and safety of its employees and the public.
The Belgium national Security Council decided to take measures to fight against the spread of the coronavirus and has implemented a state of emergency over Belgium:
– Working from home will become the norm. If that is not possible, people are only allowed to go to work if the employer can comply with all safety regulations.
-All gatherings are strictly forbidden.
-Public transport is allowed to keep running if social distancing can be guaranteed.
-All non-essential travel abroad is prohibited.
Under these measures, BSEF activities and participation at public events have been cancelled or postponed. The BSEF headquarters are now closed till the 6th of April and employees are teleworking and can be reached via their e-mail addresses. No visitors will be admitted, and all events scheduled at the office during this period are postponed.
