Europe is united in to keep refugees as far away as possible, also people who are fleeing from wars and torture, to put them in camps and at the same time, to pact with regimes that permanently violate human rights. Europe closes its eyes to the misery for which it is jointly responsible. The right to asylum is de facto increasingly reduced. Causes of flight are only worth a bit of a note to the heads of state and government. But this is the only way to effectively reduce the numbers of refugees. The European idea is getting more damaged every day.

Europa ist sich einig, Flüchtlinge so fern wie möglich zu halten, auch Menschen, die vor Krieg und Folter fliehen, in Lager zu stecken und dabei auch noch mit Regimen zu paktieren, die dauerhaft Menschenrechte verletzen.  Europa verschließt die Augen vor der Not, für die es mitverantwortlich ist. Das Recht auf Asyl wird de facto immer stärker abgebaut. Und die Bekämpfung von Fluchtursachen ist den Staats- und Regierungschefs nur eine Randnotiz wert. Dabei ist das der einzige Weg, um wirksam die Flüchtlingszahlen zu reduzieren. Die europäische Idee wird täglich mehr beschädigt.
