ACCA to present ground-breaking ADR approach at prestigious World Mediation Summit 2017
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) will address an audience at this year’s World Mediation Summit in Madrid. The prestigious event brings together the most innovative minds in mediation across the globe as well as international thought provoking and forward-thinking experts in the fields of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
ACCA’s Jo Vlahos, head of assessment and Alex Dunlop, senior investigation officer - resolution have both been invited to present on the innovative and collaborative approach that ACCA has championed in the field of regulatory ADR. ACCA were selected from a large pool of potential speakers that bid for a place at this year’s event. The presentation will be delivered alongside field experts at summit including International Chamber of Commerce, Spanish and European Judges, United Nations Diplomats and many more.
Speaking about the upcoming presentation, Jo said, ‘We are delighted that once again the work undertaken by ACCA’s Conciliation Service has attracted international interest and recognition. We’re honoured that we will be able to showcase ACCA at such a prestigious event as the summit provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the forward-thinking approach that ACCA takes to regulation. We will be able to highlight the value that ADR and conciliation provides to our Members at an international level to influence other organisations for the better.’
The World Mediation Summit 2017 takes place on June 13-16, 2017 at Politecnica University of Madrid. This will be the fourth annual World Mediation Summit event. The summit’s 2017 theme is The Future is Ours to Discover, A Collaborative Approach.
