The GEN Summit 2016 is set to start tomorrow in Vienna, Austria on 15-17 June 2016and will gather over 600 editors-in-chief and media experts from around the world. The theme this year is "The Rise of Platform-Driven News".
With over 80 speakers from organisations such as CNN, Twitter, The Wall Street Journal, the BBC, Blendle, La Presse, NBC News, Mic, and many more, the GEN Summit 2016 brings together the most innovative minds in media today.

Running for a sixth year, the GEN Summit is a three-days conference aimed at editors-in-chief and news professionals looking for insights, innovative solutions, practical workshops and experts' discussion on the future of journalism. It is organised this year in partnership with the City of Vienna, Telekom Austria Group and Eurocomm PR. It is supported by Google and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
