The way forward to improve people’s lives: Inspiring and Completing European Innovation Ecosystems

The Open Innovation Strategy and Policy Group (OISPG) and DG CONNECT are jointly organising the first workshop ever on European Innovation policy and governance, based on the report 'The way forward to improve people's lives: Inspiring and Completing European Innovation Ecosystems', published by the High Level Group (HLG)  on Innovation Policy Management.

The report aims to contribute to the European market of ideas and it is a strong statement for the governance issues for European Innovation to stimulate growth and employment. At the same time, it has been timely published in the context of the new Parliament and Commission.

The Innovation Policy Management seminar targets innovation policy actors both inside and outside the European Institutions, as well as policy-makers at both Member State and Regional level.

The event aims at disseminating information about the findings and discussing about common vision and common perspective on governance of European Innovation Ecosystems approach, or at least initiating the building of the common (open) innovation governance at European level. 

The seminar takes place on 12th November 2014, 14:00 – 18:00, at Directorate-general for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT), European Commission and it is organised by the High Level Group (HLG)  on Innovation Policy Management and the Open Innovation Strategy and Policy Group (OISPG)
