Sixt and CLEPA work on future mobility

Partnership with CLEPA, the EU Association of Automotive Suppliers to analyse current and future mobility requirements

Munich / Brussels, 16 April 2014 – Sixt, one of the leading international mobility service providers, and the European Association of Automotive Suppliers CLEPA have entered into a business partnership.

The primary aim of the partnership is to exchange best practices and networking: the two partners will draw on their extensive joint expertise and their many years of experience to analyse current and future mobility requirements, and to subsequently develop innovative mobility concepts based on their analyses. The integration of existing solutions such as car hire, vehicle leasing, car sharing and other complementary services will play a key role, as will the development of networked mobility to meet requirements in big cities.

In collaboration with partner companies and members, Sixt and CLEPA are focusing on reducing CO2-emissions. To reach this goal, intelligent mobility concepts gain in importance and help improving the efficiency of the EU transport system. Both sides have developed innovative concepts in this field from which they want to benefit in the future.
