Dear colleague,

The EWEA Annual Event was initiated over 20 years ago to bring the European wind industry together. Our prime objective is to strengthen the development of European and global wind energy markets.

It is for this reason that we work with hundreds of experts to develop a conference that delivers the latest in research and trends in wind energy technology; that we organise an exhibition housing industry's leading players; and that we provide you with productive networking events where you can meet with your peers and decision-makers.

This year, under the main conference theme 'getting back to business', topics will cover business in and outside of Europe, and where the new opportunities lie. You'll also be able to ask questions to industry's leading CEOs who will share with us what they are doing to stay ahead in these challenging times. See the full list of benefits when you attend EWEA 2014 >>

You'll be able to join thousands of your fellow participants from around the globe in this beautiful Mediterranean city. As well as business development and learning opportunities, you'll be able to enjoy numerous attractions: See Spain's famous Castellers pile high on top of each other to build a massive human tower at the Opening Reception; taste local specialities at many networking events; learn how to dance the Sardana and much, much more...

EWEA 2014 kicks off in grand style: On Monday 10 March, the FIFA World Cup Trophy will be on display to give fans the opportunity to have their picture taken with it.

I look forward to seeing you in Barcelona!

¡Hasta pronto!

Kind regards,

Malgosia Bartosik
EWEA Deputy CEO
