The ETAPAS project is glad to announce its Final Conference “DISRUPTING FOR GOOD – Ethical Adoption of AI and other Disruptive Technologies in the Public Sector” which will take place on the 12th of October from 16:00 to 18:00 CET. The workshop will take place both online and on-site at Villa Palestro- Centro Convegni (Roma – Via Palestro 24, 00185). ETAPAS reached its final stages and with this final conference, the project wants to provide a platform for policy- and decisionmakers, central and local public bodies, as well as GovTech solution providers and Digital Innovation Hubs to come together to discuss and showcase key findings, outcomes, and recommendations.
The event will start with a brief welcome and introduction, followed by a bird’s eye view on the ETAPAS project and its most relevant outcomes through the real-life experience of four use cases, and finally a panel with high-level experts in the field discussing the competitive edge of ethical technology adoption and sharing insights on the opportunities of ethical disruptive technologies for public service delivery. Providing a platform for dialogue and exchange of best practices in the field of ethical emerging technologies, the conference will be relevant to policy- and decisionmakers, European Commission representatives, Public Administrations and Organizations, Citizen Association representatives, Universities and Research Centers, Digital Innovation Hubs, IT industry, especially GovTech start-ups, and innovators.
