The Alliance for a Competitive European Industry, comprising
ACEA, CEMBUREAU, CEFIC, CEPI, BUSINESSEUROPE,
EUROFER, EUROPIA, EURATEXT, EURELECTRIC, ORGALIME
and EUROMETAUX, has just issued the attached Manifesto:
“Shifting Gears for a new EU Industrial Partnership”
This Manifesto calls for a new industrial partnership between the EU and its major industries., and urges EU leaders to act on 6 major priorities: Partnership – Growth – Balance – Innovation –
Markets – Skills.
The common objective of this Alliance is to promote the
competitiveness of European industry on a global scale and to help
address Europe’s radical transformation towards a sustainable and
low-carbon future.
Eurometaux urges its members to promote this important Manifesto
vis-à-vis all the relevant EU and national authorities.
