Pullach/Barcelona, June 13th 2008 – The European elite of growth entrepreneurs met on the 7th of June at the 2008 European Growth Summit. The conference, held at the renowned IESE Business School in Barcelona, was primarily concerned with Europe’s growing role in the world’s economy and the increasing independence of Europe from the US economy. The conference also focussed on the economic triangle of Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Brussels, 12 June 2008 - “Energy storage technology will become an important, value-added component in photovoltaic (PV) systems in the future and will contribute to the continuous long term growth of PV”. That is the conclusion reached by a joint working group convened by EPIA (European Photovoltaic Industry Association) and EUROBAT (Association of European Storage Battery Manufacturers).
