FoodDrinkEurope welcomes official publication of EU-wide list of approved health claims

(Brussels, 16 May 2012) European food manufacturers today welcome the official adoption by the European Commission of the list of permitted Article 13.1 health claims. The list is expected to be published shortly in the Official Journal of the European Union and has already been included in the Union Register, available on the DG Sanco website.

ACCA wants incentives to encourage more women representation on boards, but not EU-wide rigidly imposed quotas

- Full self-regulation has not been successful in increasing the proportion of women on company boards, so some additional regulatory incentive for companies to recruit more suitable female candidates is  needed.

At its General Assembly meeting of 15 May 2012 CEEP unanimously appointed Valeria Ronzitti as General Secretary.

Commenting the vote, the President of CEEP, Hans Joachim Reck declared: “With the
