"We Europeans want and need to strengthen our co-operation, at all levels, with Africa – a continent blessed with immense resources, especially its people", argued the president of the S&D Group, Gianni Pittella, during his speech at the conference on the future of Africa. This conference is taking place as part of the second Africa Week* organised by the Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament in Brussels, which will end on the 28 September.

Bridgetown, BARBADOS, September 27, 2017.  A diverse collection of food and beverage producers from the Caribbean will descend upon the world’s leading food fair ANUGA in Cologne, Germany next month.  The leading food fair which attracts some 7000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and close to 200,000 visitors will be home to eight producers from the Caribbean under the Caribbean Kitchen pavilion facilitated by the Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export).
