European Organisation for Specialised Nurses (ESNO) launches switch management guide between similar biological medicines - a guide for nurses

Today, ESNO launched an informative guide for the specialised nursing community to facilitate interactions with patients switching from a reference to a biosimilar medicine.

The guide builds on existing European Commission guidelines for the healthcare professional community by specifically addressing the role of specialised nurse interactions with patients during the switch process.

Less than a year before the next European elections, Social Democrat leader Udo Bullmann, Socialist Party Prime Minister Olivier Faure and French Socialists' President Christine Revault  d’Allonnes de Bonnefoy are launching a citizen’s conference on Friday, June 29 in Paris, on the theme "The Europe of Tomorrow; It’s Left". Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, will kick off this major European event to be held at Cirque d'Hiver from 18:00.

Ahead of a crucial vote in the European Parliament’s civil liberties, justice, and home affairs committee on the rule of law in Hungary, leading S&D MEPs have called on their counterparts from the EPP group to finally take action against the authoritarian drift of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. The committee will vote this afternoon on launching infringement procedures against the Hungarian government under Article 7 of the EU treaties for consistent and systemic breaches of core EU values.
