S&Ds welcome Commission’s proposal to end veto on taxation and announce up-coming new study on tax gap

Reacting to a Commission proposal to extend majority voting to all EU tax policies by the end of 2020, which is expected to be presented by EU Commissioner Pierre Moscovici today, S&D Group leader Udo Bullmann stated:
 

Congratulations to Macedonians! The Parliament approved the constitutional amendments to change country’s name to North Macedonia

The S&D Group welcomes the outcome of today’s vote in which Macedonian parliamentarians have supported the Prespa agreement reached in June by Prime Ministers Zaev and Tsipras on the name of the country. By doing so they supported the country’s Euro-Atlantic future.

Reacting to the tragic death of Paweł Adamowicz, the S&D Group president Udo Bullmann said:
