Silver Rose Awards celebrates those fighting for social justice in EU and around the world

S&D - Socialists and Democrats
The S&D Group and Solidar, the European network of civil society organisations, will tonight celebrate the work of those fighting for social justice in Europe and around the world. The annual Silver Rose Awards will be held in the European Parliament, on 29 January from 19.00-21.00.

Today, negotiators of the European Parliament, the Commission and the EU member states reached an agreement to protect Europeans from the exposure to an additional five carcinogenic or mutagenic substances in the workplace.

Shortlist Announced for European Association Awards - Winners to be revealed in March

The European Association Awards
Over 50 different European associations are represented at the third European Association Awards. The shortlist, spread across 15 different categories, was announced on the 21st of January.  Finalists include the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), Accountancy Europe, Home Appliance Europe (APPLiA) and SolarPower Europe.
