Europe’s Beating Cancer plan is a welcome milestone to drive focused policy frameworks for cancer care in Europe. To achieve its mission, the cancer plan must support sustainable policies that improve access to generic, biosimilar and value added medicines. 

On Wednesday, 3 February, the main stakeholder organisations representing the forestry sector met with the European Commissioner for Agriculture, Janusz Wojciechowski, to discuss the sector's growing concerns on the way in which the implementation of the EU Green Deal currently addresses forestry issues. Our forests need to be responsibly managed, especially in the face of climate change and its impact on forest holdings.

One day before the World Cancer Day, the European Commission launches the much-awaited Europe’s  Beating Cancer Plan as the EU’s response to the growing burden of cancer deaths. European Cancer  Patient Coalition is pleased to see that the fight against cancer remains a top priority for the European  Commission despite the unprecedented reach and proportion of the coronavirus health crisis.

Brussels, Belgium: Today, the European Commission unveiled the historic Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan that will set the tone of Europe’s lifestyle policies for the generations to come.

Brussels – 2 February 2021 – E-scooter operators have come together to form a new coalition, Micro Mobility for Europe (MMfE), which launches officially today. Comprised of eight founding members¹, the  coalition aims to contribute to the development of a coherent policy framework in Europe that will ensure  micro-mobility solutions flourish in European cities and support the rapid transition to zero-emission  urban mobility.
