€2.75m awarded to European consortium to solve market failure of artificially scarce digital goods

A new economic category for abundant goods — anti-rival goods that increase in value when shared — forms the basis of research to be conducted by ATARCA consortium. Waste-to-Energy contributes by treating the fraction of municipal waste unfit for recycling, as a part of the Effort Sharing Regulation.
