Municipalities from the Basque Country, Estonia, Norway and Poland have joined the pan-European movement already supported in France, Germany and Italy. This follows the call of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), together with PLATFORMA, to join the campaign #DemocracyUnderPressure initiated by the Young European Federalists (JEF).

Brussels, 24 March 2021 - European Aluminium and Metal Packaging Europe today launched a joint Roadmap towards achieving 100% aluminium beverage can recycling by 2030.

At a joint ACCA, SMEunited and EBRD event, EU and global experts discussed obstacles faced by SMEs in accessing public procurement, the role of policy and decision-makers to reduce these barriers, and how  governments can use public procurement as a strategic tool to foster sustainable and innovative growth. They called for transparency, simplification of the process and professionalisation of the procurement function.
