The war against Ukraine makes it imperative for Europe to move faster towards better connected energy networks, say S&Ds

The Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament will vote in favour of an EU legislation that will achieve better connectivity of energy infrastructure among member states. According to them, the Trans-European energy infrastructure Regulation, known also as TEN-E, will further strengthen sustainability of the EU energy grids.

The Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament have called for an EU budget for next year that works for economic recovery with strong social elements that benefit the most vulnerable citizens and the small and medium enterprises that are the backbone of the EU economy.
