ENEL Green Power adds another 23 MW of wind power in Sardinia and France

The Enel Group Company operating in the renewables sector continues to pursue its commitment to developing wind power with the installation of new capacity for approximately 11 MW at the Sedini (Littigheddu) wind farm in the province of Sassari and 12 MW at Les Eparmonts Haute Marne in the region of Champagne Ardenne.

In Sardinia the new turbines are bringing EGP’s installed wind capacity to over 110 MW, while in France - one of the most attractive markets in Europe in this sector - the entry into service of the plant brings total installed capacity to more than 28 MW.

ENEL awards mandate to fimit SGR to increase value of its non-core real estate assets

• The Enel Group will endow the Fund with approximately 3,000small, non-core real estate assets valued at about 190 million euros.

• The endowment will consist of residential and converted industrial properties, agricultural land and de-commissioned stations throughout more than 1,700 Italian municipalities.

• These assets represent the remainder of Enel’s real estate holdings in Italy following major disposals in recent years as well as direct sales.

• Economic and operating benefits are expected.

Standard & Poor's affirmed ENEL "A-" long-term credit rating and "A-2" short-term credit rating and removed the creditwatch with negative implications on long-term credit rating.

The outlook is stable from negative.

Rome, July 13th, 2009 – Standard & Poor’s affirmed today its “A-” long-term credit rating on Enel S.p.A. (“Enel” or the “Company”), removing the negative CreditWatch, and
affirmed as well its “A-2” short-term credit rating on the Company. The outlook is stable from negative.

Such changes mainly follow the favourable outcome of the Enel’s 8 billion euros capital increase, that in Standard & Poor’s view has strengthened the Company’s and Group’s
capital structure and reduced refinancing risk, improving liquidity.

Brussels, 22 July 2009: A leading microbiologist announced his findings that copper is effective at inactivating Influenza A - including H1N1 - at a conference to address the health challenges of globalisation. The research, led by Professor Bill Keevil, Director of the Environmental Healthcare Unit at the University of Southampton, was presented at the BIT Life Sciences 2nd Annual World Summit on Antivirals on July 18.

Communication on Block Exemption Regulation acknowledges strong competition in automotive sector

Brussels, 22 July 2009 – The European automobile manufacturers call on the European Commission to swiftly define the future competition
framework for vehicle distribution and after sales services in order to provide the legal certainty, clarity and predictability that the automotive industry needs.

The Commission announced changes today in a Communication on the so-call Block Exemption Regulation for the sector while extending the current regime for vehicle distribution with three years.
