European vehicle makers welcome policy coordination around e-mobility

San  Sebastian,  9  February 2010 – The European automobile manufacturers
welcome  the initiative taken by the Spanish Presidency of the Council of
the  European  Union  to  discuss the opportunities as well as challenges
offered  by e-mobility during today’s informal Competitiveness Council in
San Sebastian. EU ministers exchanged views with leaders and experts from
across society, including the automobile industry.

Enel Announces preliminary consolidated results for 2009

•  Revenues: 64 billion euros (61.2 billion euros in 2008, +4.6%)*.
•  EBITDA: 16 billion euros (14.3 billion euros in 2008, +11.9%)*.
•  Net financial debt: 51 billion euros (50 billion euros in 2008)*.

Rome, February 4th, 2010 – The Board of Directors of Enel, chaired by Piero Gnudi, met today to review the preliminary consolidated results for 2009.

Venice and la Spezia to become "Green Ports"

The presidents of the Port Authorities of Venice, Paolo Costa, and La Spezia, Lorenzo Forcieri, have joined Fulvio Conti, CEO and General Manager of Enel, in signing protocols of understanding to promote technological innovation and reduce the emissions of port operations.

Enel Green Power and Finipiemonte partecipazioni sign agreement for development of photovoltaic and other renewable energy resources in Piedmont

A new joint venture between the two companies will begin immediate development of a photovoltaic system with a capacity of more than 3 MW at Strambino, with other renewable energy plants to follow in the near future.

The agreement implements the Memorandum of Understanding of July 2008 between Enel and the Region of Piedmont for joint initiatives aimed at developing hydroelectric, wind and photovoltaic power generation.

TEAS - The European Azerbaijan Society
